Patroclus comes from VOC Geraardsbergen. He was brought in by someone who had found the animal. These types of birds are not indigenous animals; he was probably released by his previous owner or had escaped its enclosure.
Where does it feel at home?
The red-breasted parakeet lives in the forests of south-east Asia.
What does it like to eat?
This bird likes to eat seeds and fruit.
Fun fact:
The scientific name was given in honour of Alexander the Great. His armies brought these parakeets to Greece.
