Otje
Otje was kept as a pet by a family. The people started looking for a new home for the owl because they became aware that their house was not a good living environment for the animal. Now Otje can enjoy a spacious enclosure here at De Zonnegloed.
Where does he feel at his best?
The little owl feels best in the countryside. You will often find it during the day while enjoying the sun on poles or pollard willows.
What does it like to eat?
Insects, amphibians, earthworms.

It is a resident bird, which means that it breeds and hibernates in the same region.
