► Four wheel hand cart
 

You can rent a four-wheel hand cart during your visit at De Zonnegloed. As the walk through our sanctuary will easily take up 2-3 hours, small children might be happy with the possibility to sit down a while. The cost for renting a hand cart is €5.

► First aid

At the entrance / Food & Gift shop is our first aid post.

Youth groups and schools are mandated by law to provide their own first aid kit. Employees of De Zonnegloed are not allowed to administer medication of transport patients to a doctor or hospital.
 

► Kids

Visiting De Zonnegloed with young children? No problem! There's a microwave available at the Food & Gift shop where you can heat up a bottle or some food and there are plenty of highchairs for children available. In both the ladies' and men's toilets there is a changing room.
 

► Wheelchairs

Our trails are pressed gravel paths. This can make it challenging for wheelchair users, so some sportsmanship on the part of the attendant is required. The attic where you find the reptiles and small animals is not wheelchair accessible.

There are two wheelchairs available at De Zonnegloed. You can make a reservation via info@dezonnegloed.be or phone (0032 57 40 18 56).

The cost for renting a wheelchair is €5.

► Disabled parking spaces

There are two disabled parking spaces available in car park 1. These have to be reserved in advance when purchasing your ticket, under ‘means of transportation’. It is always possible that the disabled parking spaces are fully booked due to limited availability.
