Saborni and Rufipes were brought in on 24/10/2012 by the Opglabeek Nature Aid Center. The owls were ceded after the death of their owner. The heirs could not take care of the animals themselves.
Where does he feel most at home?
The rufous-legged owl likes to live in the forests of Chile and Argentina.
What's his favourite food?
They like to eat insects, small rodents and small birds.
Fun fact
The rufous-legged owl can make about 10 to 12 different sounds, unlike other owls which make only 2 to 4 different sounds.
